Why should I hire Legacy Wealth Planning?

Transparent Flat Fee. Our pricing is simple and makes sense. Our fees do NOT depend on how much money you have.

Focus on what matters most. We understand money is just a tool. We're here to help you get where you want to be in life. We don't have anything to sell you. We don't have any minimums. We don't make any commissions. We don't charge based on how much money you have. We're here to do what's right for you, plain and simple.

Limited number of clients. Big box firms load advisors with several hundred clients. We don't. Having fewer clients allows for higher quality service and focused attention to your needs. You'll never be just a number with us. 

Core Values. We only want to work with people who share our core values. Honesty. Loyalty. Transparency. Authenticity. Kindness.

Is Legacy Wealth Planning a Fiduciary? Will you sign a Fiduciary Pledge?

Yes, we believe you deserve a true fiduciary at a price. So we give you a signed fiduciary oath and only charge a flat rate.

Do I have to live locally to work with you?

No. We serve clients virtually across the country.

Is there a long-term commitment to working with you?

No. We hope to create lifelong relationships with our clients, but we understand that circumstances can change. Our clients are free to leave anytime, and we will gladly assist with any account transfers.

What type of investments do you use?

As evidence-based investors, we encourage clients to use low-cost index funds from a variety of providers, including Vanguard, Blackrock, Schwab, and Dimensional Funds.

Do you sell any investment or insurance products?

No. As a fee-only advisor, our only source of compensation is client advisory fees. We don't earn any commissions or hidden fees from any investment or insurance product providers.

Do you try to time the market?

No. We don't employ any market timing or tactical asset allocation methods.

However, we may encourage clients to take advantage of market fluctuations through prudent investment rebalancing, Roth IRA conversions, tax loss harvesting, etc.

Do you require new clients to sell prior investments?

No, we seek to meet clients where they are. We collaborate with all clients to manage legacy investment holdings using prudent risk management and tax efficiency. We are cognizant of the fact that a variety of factors (e.g. embedded capital gains) can influence portfolio management decisions.

I am not close to retirement. Can I still work with you?

Yes. While we specialize in retirement income planning, we are a wealth planning firm first and foremost. As a result, we have many clients not yet close to retirement.
